Find your inner wild thing

I recently watched the film adaptation of Where the wild things are. As strange as the movie was, I really liked the creativity that was put into it.

I had the sudden urge to make a quick version of Carol. I used a snap shot of the film, as well as a page from the actual book to make this image. I think I ended up with a cross between the two styles.

Fire alarm bird house?

I had a little mini vacation over the halloween weekend and went up to visit a special someone in Davis, CA. The campus at UC davis was full of foliage and drunk students. I had a great time.
I originally wanted to paint some trees but this red thing popped out like crazy so I decided to draw and color it really quick before I got run over by students on bicycles.

Operation Up, Up & Away!

Today I have decided that it was time for me to get off my butt and be productive. And what better way to be productive than to start a blog! Yay!

This is a sketch of my niece holding my Stitch doll. Lets see where this goes.. Hopefully i'll have a finished painting soon =]
