Surreal approach

Hello! Here is a piece that I worked on that probably would never have been made if I had not tried a surrealist approach in the beginning. Believe it or not, this image started out with an old landscape painting i did a few years ago which I warped around in photo shop. I then began to trace some of the lines and eventually found this image within the chaos. Lastly, I went ahead a painted what I saw.

Sketches And stuff

Just a few sketches I've been meaning to share. The big portrait of the old man is actually a quick study of an original master painting by Anthony van Dyck. I had a lot of fun using regular Crayola markers with these.

Changing seasons

Hello all!

Here is a recent illustration I worked on. The whole idea was to interpret time and movement while trying to stray away from the usual imagery associated with time ( like clocks, hourglasses and such) So with this image I wanted to show how time can quickly age an object, in my case a few pumpkins.

Hermit love

Hello all! It's a new semester, and a new story to tackle. Here is a peak at a story i've been developing recently. The plot and the characters are evolving every week as I work so it's pretty fun seeing where this story is heading. As of now, here are some of the characters =] more to come.
