ipad study
Summer is in full swing and i've been trying to balance time with my art, work, and all that life has to offer! Here is a study I painted on my ipad on my lunch break at work. The ipad is definitely a tool I still need to get used to in terms of creating paintings. I find it nice for quick studies like this one. I will try to make a full blown illustration soon.

Ace! You captured the atmosphere well - is that Muir Woods? I am green with envy about your kit, landscape painting on my iphone is a less than rewarding experience.
ReplyDeletei'd rag on you for having an ipad in the first place but this looks fantastic as it does already!
ReplyDeleteHey Thanks guys! Jamie- yep that's muir woods! Yeah If you're ever thinking about purchasing a tablet, I would suggest the ipad 2 over the other ones on the market because they have so many different painting apps now. The only down side is that it is not as precise as a wacom tablet.
ReplyDeleteWOW nice study Leo~ Diggin those colors and lighting ;) See ya around school!
ReplyDeletebeautiful light and texture, man--looks great!
