I’ve made the jump and now I’m on Patreon! Was this a scary decision? Yup! Is this something that can totally flop? Double yup. But is this something that I believe can succeed and actually bring value to people? Absolutely. As you know, for the past few years I have been posting up my artwork here on Instagram. I’m so happy for this experience because i’ve made so many friends and met people around the world through this platform who are always inspiring one another. But I felt like it was time to be able to give you guys even more content and individual attention. This is where Patreon comes in. To summarize it, I will illustrate a new a character design every week and post it on Instagram called "Patreon Painting". The low resolution version will be posted here on instagram every Sunday, but the Hi-resolution image will be available on Patreon, along with the recorded step by step painting process videos. Another reason why I wanted to start a Patreon, was to be able to focus on helping more individuals with their own art. I get many emails and messages from artists of all skill levels asking me for advice and how to improve their own work. I've always wanted to be a teacher so maybe this can be my way of starting that. I hope that my many years in the games industry as a professional concept artist can help me help you in some sort of way. So i've included a Tier in the rewards section which will essentially let me be your tutor. I’m not here claiming I know everything, because I really don’t. But I can most defintely help out.
